New Shooter Registration – Jan. 2026

This page will walk you through the process of registering a new member of the Southlake Carroll Target Team. Each step is required–please complete them all in order. We strongly encourage you to complete steps 1 – 7 in one sitting. This should take about 30 minutes, excluding the YESS training video.

1. Print out the Registration Checklist

This checklist will help you keep track of the steps in the process.

2. Complete SCTT Registration Form (and Pay Fees)

This form collects the basic information SCTT needs for the athlete and adult(s) being registered with the team. It also includes uniform sizing information and various agreements and waivers. At the end, you’ll pay the SCTT registration fee.

See this sheet for instructions on measuring for your athlete’s vest. Note that we should have vests available to try on at the first practice–this will let us double-check that we’re ordering the correct size for each shooter.

3. Register Parent(s) as CISD Volunteer(s)

Each adult being registered with SCTT must register annually as a volunteer with Carroll Independent School District. If you haven’t registered yet this school year, please do so now.

  • Select all the CISD campuses where you have students; if you don’t have students in CISD, select the High School and Senior High School.
  • Select “Student Activities/Clubs” and “Other” activities.
  • Other selections don’t matter for SCTT.

4. Complete YESS Athlete Registration (And Pay Fees)

Complete the athlete registration form for USA Youth Education in Shooting Sports (USAYESS), which is one of the two leagues in which SCTT competes. 

  • Enter ATHLETE information, select TX, Southlake Carroll Target Team, and enter all info
  • When entering the athlete’s email address, use a non-CISD account that can receive external emails.
  • Pay the $50 registration fee (this is not included in the SCTT fee).

5. Complete YESS Adult Registration (and Pay Fees)

Complete the adult registration form for USAYESS. 

  • Select “Create an Account,” then “Just for Me”
  • Fill out the form
  • When you receive the email confirmation, log in to continue
  • Select “Volunteer”, TX, Southlake Carroll Target Team 
  • MidwayUSA Endowment? YES – Endowment ID # is R5677 
  • Complete Background Screening Information and Review 
  • Pay the $50 registration fee (this is not included in the SCTT fee).
  • TO DO LATER: You’ll receive an email from YESS with a link to complete Athlete Protection Sexual Abuse Awareness Training
    • Watch the 90-minute video at any time
    • Take the quiz  
    • No need to send us your certificate. YESS will send you reminders if needed.

6. Submit SCTP Medical and Sportsmanship Forms

Print out, complete, and sign the SCTP medical and sportsmanship forms–both of these are in a single PDF. Then scan or photograph them and email them to membership@slctargetteam.com. (Note that these go to the team, not to the league.)

7. Set up the Team App

SCTT uses the Stack Team App to communicate with shooters and parents. Each athlete and at least one parent should have a Team App account. (If your athlete doesn’t currently have a phone, please set up their account on the Team App web site.)

  • Install the Stack Team App on the athlete’s and at least one parent’s phone.
  • Set up your accounts (separate accounts for athlete and parent) and request access to SCTT–one of our admins will add you within a day or two.
  • In addition to the phone app, you can access the Team App from a browser at https://sctt.teamapp.com/. 
8. Wait for SCTP/SSSF Email Notifications

You’re done for today! The team will use the information you submitted in the SCTT Registration form to register your athlete with SCTP. All you need to do is wait a few days! 

9. Complete SCTP/SSSF Registration via Email Notifications
  • Once we create your SCTP account using the email provided, you will receive several emails from SSSF (parent organization of SCTP) for signatures and consents. These will be for “coach/Parent” and also Athlete –  be aware and check all emails you have provided for these vital Docusigns. 
  • Complete and submit the Docusign forms.
  • One of these emails should be from VerifyEmail verify2@sssfonline.comwith the subject “SSSF Coach Invitation” and/or “SSSF Signature Request” (Check your spam folder).
  • Note: all adults registered with SCTP are labeled as “Coach.” 
  • Click the link provided in the email to create your username and password (Save the password).
  • On the Profile Tab, complete any missing information including date of birth. 
  • On Registration Tab: DO NOT PAY THE FEE
    • All SCTP fees are included in your SCTT registration dues (except background check).
    • Click the button to “Send SCTP Registration Email”
  • You will receive an email with the Volunteer Form to sign via Docusign. Sign and submit the form.  
  • Complete the Background Check form (Password: scholastic). Your primary volunteer location is Northlake, TX 76262. Pay the fee (about $15) for the background check. 
Congratulations–you’re done!
